Governance

As a not-for-profit membership organisation, incorporated by association, Queensland Writers Centre has a voluntary Management Committee elected by the membership. The Committee is our governing body, providing strategic direction and overseeing our resources to make sure we deliver the best possible service to our members, partners and our community.

Queensland Writers Centre operates under the terms of our Constitution and Rules, and meets obligations as a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission.

Annual General Meeting

Queensland Writers Centre’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) gives our members and Management Committee an opportunity to review the state of the organisation. The proceedings include the Management Committee elections.
