Queensland Writers Centre is committed to providing the best possible learning and development opportunities for our members and writers in our community, across a range of writing interests, levels and backgrounds. We present a diverse annual Program of Events, workshops and courses on the art, craft and business of writing, and offer a suite of writers' services including editing, mentorship and consultation, providing access to industry professionals, expert advice and guidance in all aspects of the craft and business of writing and publishing.

We encourage expressions of interest from established writers and industry professionals with teaching experience to present and work with us to deliver these programs. Queensland Writers Centre defines an established writer as someone with considerable professional experience, peer recognition, and/or publication history.
