Your story is important. No one else can tell it like you can. So how do you create an adventure story for your readers to love?
Together with T.M. Clark, you will adventure in search of your own compelling plot and believable world-building, all while maintaining maximum reader interest. Participants will create the beginnings of a story through interactive activities and writing games.
Format
This is a free workshop for young writers aged 12-15 held as part of Brisbane Children’s Writers Festival 2023, in partnership with Gympie Regional Council. Bookings are required.

About T.m. CLArk
Zimbabwean-born T.M. Clark combines her passion for storytelling, different cultures and wildlife with her love for the wild in her multicultural books. Writing for adults and children, she has been nominated for a Queensland Literary Award, and is a Children’s Book Council Notable.
Passionate about literacy, she loves to mentor emerging writers, eating chocolate biscuits, and collecting books for creating libraries in Papua New Guinea. Tina Marie is the coordinator for the CYA Conference in Brisbane, providing professional development for new and established writers and illustrators and runs the Writers at Sea retreat.
