Explore creative writing basics and come away with tools and exercises to nurture your inner storyteller during this Queensland Writers Centre workshop. Ideal for beginners or those looking to brush up on their skills.

Running this workshop is Edwina Shaw. Edwina's first novel, Thrill Seekers, was shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Award for New Writing, and her children’s book, In the Dark of Night, was selected for a nationwide Reading Program. Over 30 of her pieces have been published in literary journals and anthologies including Best Australian Stories. Her screenplay M is currently under development with Screen QLD. She is the editor of Bjelke Blues. She teaches creative writing at UQ and also runs Relax and Write Retreats.
