About Cherie

Cherie Curtis dived into deep trouble as a youngster when she penned a complete story on her aunt’s bedroom wall. Desperate to tell more magical tales, she switched her writing medium from plasterboard to notepad, but was then side-tracked by a 20-year journalism career. Cherie finally weaved a wormhole back to fantastical writing and has now penned seven books, with other works published in various magazines and anthologies. This lively story hunter lives on the Darling Downs where she spends most of her time inspiring, teaching and encouraging young writers through her Creative Dragons discovery lair.
