About Sandy

From parachuting out of a plane and landing in a swamp, to riding a jet boat on New Zealand’s rapids, Sandy Curtis loves adventure. Her writing career started at twelve when she won $2.20 for a short piece in the Sunday Mail kids’ section. At fourteen she wrote to Brisbane Police Headquarters asking about fingerprints for a short story she was writing. This resulted in an invitation to tour Police Headquarters with her teacher and several schoolfriends and sparked her on-going interest in all things criminal. Her short stories have won awards, and her seven thrillers are published internationally.
