Learn how to structure your YA novel to create a compelling narrative that readers will love.

In this workshop internationally bestselling YA author Cale Dietrich will teach story structure and show how it can be used to strengthen stories and to help avoid writers block.

Format

This is an in-person workshop with a focus on writing craft; it will be held at State Library of Queensland. This workshop is suitable for writers of all levels and backgrounds.

About Cale

Cale Dietrich is the author of six YA novels including The Love Interest, If This Gets Out (c0-written with Sophie Gonzales) and My Roommate from Hell. He was born in Perth, grew up on the Gold Coast, and now lives in Brisbane. When he’s not writing he spend his time playing video games, watching Drag Racing or reading queer books.
