In this workshop, internationally bestselling YA author Cale Dietrich will teach you about story structure and show how it can be used your strengthen story. Learn to avoid writers block and build a compelling structure for your Young Adult novel.

Format

This is an in-person workshop with a focus on writing craft; it will be held at State Library of Queensland. This workshop is suitable for YA writers of all levels and backgrounds.

About Cale

Cale Dietrich is the author of six YA novels including The Love Interest, If This Gets Out (co-written with Sophie Gonzales) and My Roommate from Hell. He was born in Perth, grew up on the Gold Coast, and now lives in Brisbane. When he’s not writing, he spends his time playing video games, watching Drag Racing and reading queer books.
