We'll cover topics including how to plan your book, how to find story ideas, where to start the story, characterisation, plot, structure, dialogue, and how to end your story. You can adapt this for memoir too.

Format
This is a hybrid workshop with a focus on craft; it will be held in-person at Queensland Writers Centre and live-streamed simultaneously to an online audience. It is a level 1 course suitable for writers of all levels.
About Taryn
Taryn Bashford is the award-winning author of The Harper Effect and The Astrid Notes published by Pan Macmillan in Australia and Skyhorse Publishing in the USA. She also self-published the romantic suspense Tide Trilogy under T.M. Bashford. In addition, she is a writing mentor for unpublished writers with Queensland Writers Centre and a sessional tutor at the University of Queensland.
